Satish Chandra Memorial School, Chakdaha and St Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur finish as first and second runners-up
Chandigarh, August 8, 2026: St Kabir Public School successfully hosted the first All India edition of its flagship inter-school quiz championship, Pantomathics, on August 7, marking a significant milestone in the six-year journey of the competition.
Cambridge Court High School, Jaipur emerged as the Pantomathics-2026 champions, with Medhansh Vaddadi and Atharv Gauttam representing the winning team. Satish Chandra Memorial School, Chakdaha, West Bengal, secured the first runner-up position with Jayabrata Ghosh and Ainak Chowdhary, while St Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur, finished second runner-up with Pavitra Jain and Saanvi Bhatia.
The national-level championship witnessed an overwhelming response, with 1,229 two-member teams from 486 schools across India participating in the competition. After nationwide online preliminary and zonal rounds, the top 16 teams representing Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, West Bengal and Jharkhand advanced to the Grand Finale in Chandigarh. The championship carried a total prize pool of ₹2 lakh.
The Grand Finale was conducted by renowned quizmaster Venkatesh (Venky) Srinivasan, co-founder of Nexus Consulting and associated with Pantomathics since its inception. Known for his association with popular knowledge properties including Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) and Wheel of Fortune, Srinivasan has conducted hundreds of educational, corporate and public quiz events across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurpreet Bakshi, Chief Administrator, St Kabir Public School, said the response to the first national edition demonstrated the growing interest among students in knowledge-based competitions.

Organised in collaboration with Nexus Consulting, the championship featured questions from a wide range of subjects, including Current Affairs, Science, Technology, History, Geography, Sports, Literature, Entertainment, Arts and General Knowledge. The competition was designed to test not only factual knowledge but also analytical thinking, quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
The Semi-Finals and Grand Finale were conducted by Venky Srinivasan, who described Pantomathics as a celebration of curiosity as much as knowledge.

St Kabir Public School also hosted the travel, accommodation and hospitality of all finalist teams, providing students and teachers from different parts of the country an opportunity to interact and exchange ideas. The 2026 edition additionally featured a Teachers’ Invitational Written Quiz, reflecting the school’s emphasis on continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.
With participation from schools across multiple states and regions, the first All India edition has positioned Pantomathics as an emerging national platform for school-level quizzing, bringing together young minds from across the country in a celebration of knowledge, curiosity and intellectual engagement.
