Launch of ‘Glowing Diamond’; Literary Performances Captivate the Audience

Lakhimpur Kheri, September 30, 2026: Connecting journalism with social issues and honoring individuals who have made remarkable contributions to society, the 5th Foundation Day of Dainik Janjagran News Digital was celebrated at the Municipal Council Hall in Lakhimpur. Personalities active in journalism, literature, social service, and various other fields were honored during the event.

The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Ira Srivastava, Chairperson of the Municipal Council, Lakhimpur. Rotarian PDG Dr. Ajay Agha, Dr. Pradeep Nigam, and Rajiv Ratna Khare were present as Special Guests. The event was presided over by educationist Abhay Agnihotri and conducted by Advocate Aryendra Pal Singh.

The program commenced with prayers to Lord Chitragupta and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Roshni Sharma and Priya Sharma rendered the Saraswati Vandana. Following this, Anil Kumar Srivastava, the founder of Dainik Janjagran News Digital, presented the ‘Janjagran Safarnama’, highlighting the institute’s four-year journey, achievements, and social commitments. Emphasizing the responsibility of journalism toward society, he also shared future plans and resolves.

Launch of ‘Glowing Diamond’

A major highlight of the ceremony was the launch of ‘Glowing Diamond’, an initiative by founder Anil Kumar Srivastava. It was inaugurated by Vishal Seth, Manager of CMS. According to the organizers, this initiative aims to bring inspiring personalities who have done remarkable work in various fields to the forefront and give their contributions widespread recognition.

The event also witnessed a confluence of literature and journalism. Poets including Rammohan Gupta ‘Amar’, Vishesh Sharma, Kuldeep Samar, Kriti Srivastava, Dr. Vijay Shukla ‘Badal’, and Indrapal Verma presented poetry recitations. Their compositions connected the audience with literature, empathy, and social concerns.

Honoring National and International Journalists and Social Workers

The ‘Janjagran Digital Honor’ was presented for contributions to journalism, social service, and public welfare. Among those honored were journalist Brahmadev Yadav from Biratnagar, Nepal; independent journalist Rakesh Kumar from Araria, Bihar; young social worker Nitish Kumar from Chandigarh; and Colonel Dr. D.N. Jha from Mohali, Punjab.
Additionally, recognition was bestowed upon Principal Shipra Bajpai, Vishal Seth, Rammohan Gupta ‘Amar’, Mayuri Nagar, Anas Rasheed, Rajesh Dixit, Aarti Srivastava, Rotarian Poonam Agha, Madhulika Tripathi, Hari Prakash Tripathi, Brijesh Mishra, Poornima Mishra, Dheeraj Kashyap, Rajshekhar, Archana Srivastava, Anuradha Tiwari, Rajpal Singh, Raghunandan Jha, Dr. O.P. Srivastava, Dr. Manjula Bartariya, Anita Nigam, journalist Manoj Srivastava ‘Vaibhav’, Sarvesh Shukla, Dev Srivastava, and Sparsh Sinha, along with individuals from various other sectors.

A large number of dignitaries, literature lovers, well-wishers, and social figures attended the event, including Gayatri Srivastava, Dheeraj Srivastava, Anurag Saxena, Anshuman Srivastava, Rita Srivastava, Akshara, Manas, and Hirangana.

Completing four years and entering its fifth, this foundation day ceremony of Dainik Janjagran News Digital served as a harmonious blend of journalism, literature, recognition, and social concerns. Through this program, the institution reiterated its pledge to promote positive journalism, honor talent, and provide a platform for issues related to public interest.
