Mohali (April 12) : Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Harish Kumari, Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies organised a grand Inter-College Fest titled ‘Hunar 2025’. The objective of the event was to provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity, talent, and leadership skills, enabling them to excel not only in academics but also in cultural and co-curricular activities.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest Rupinder Kaur, Assistant Director, Youth Services Punjab and State NSS Officer, graced the event. She was warmly welcomed by the Principal and faculty members of the college with a bouquet and a token of appreciation.
Students from various colleges participated enthusiastically in the fest and showcased their talent in multiple competitive events including debate, poster making, rangoli, collage making, photography, painting, poetry recitation, folk singing, mimicry, fancy dress, elocution, advertisement designing, video making, logo designing, and startup pitching.
Moreover, students also set up stalls featuring their handmade and various other products, taking on the role of entrepreneurs by selling their creations during the event.
The judging panel for the fest included Sachpreet Kaur Khiva, a social activist; Dr. Tarannum Mohali, Assistant Professor, Regional Centre for IT & Management, Phase-7, Mohali; and Bhawanpreet Kaur Bhatia, Assistant Professor, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Mohali. They evaluated the students’ performances across all competitions and declared the winners.
College Principal Dr. Harish Kumari expressed her delight at the success of the event, stating that such programs play a vital role in the holistic development of students. She congratulated all the winners and appreciated every participant for their efforts.
The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where students who excelled in various competitions were honored with certificates.
