Chandigarh : Citizen Awareness Group felicitated Sanjay Tandon for his commendable contribution to the society. He has been actively involved in activities like organising blood donation camps and distributing food packets to the needy for a long time.
Tandon is known for his public service and listens to the problems of citizens on a daily basis from his residence cum office. His calm nature, ever smiling face and dedication towards the society earn him special respect among the masses.
In collaboration with Chandigarh Police, Tandon also initiated ‘Gully Cricket’ matches for the youth and adolescents of the city. The initiative aims to prevent the youth from getting into drugs and crime and motivate them towards sports and creative activities.
Prominent personalities present at the felicitation ceremony included Surinder Verma (President), Shikha Nijhawan (Joint Secretary), Parvesh Chauhan (Photo Journalist) and Governing Council members Archana Sood and Karuna.
